Thanks to a generous donor,  this motorcycle was able to be purchased from a private collector in March 2020, who had previously displayed it in the American Police Motorcycle Museum in Meredith, New Hampshire.  When that museum closed during COVID, we were lucky to become its new owners!

It can be traced back to 1976 when undergoing a full restoration, removal of layers of red paint revealed remnants of the original custom French and Electric Blue paint on the gas tank.

This bike is believed to be one of only two Indian's that remain from MSP service of that era.  The other is a 1940 Indian that is owned by a private collector.

In February 2021 the MSPMLC restored the bike to its original paint and configuration based on photos from our archives.  Finally in April 2022 we unveiled the finished restoration when our museum moved to Whitinsville, where it is now on display for all our visitors to admire!
