Course of Action...

In 1992, it was agreed that The Massachusetts State Police – the oldest State Law Enforcement Agency in the country – should preserve its significant contribution to Law Enforcement history.

An objective was established to create a museum through private funding – a museum that preserves the department’s history from its 1865 inception to the present. This museum will include over 135 years of State Police history, recognize the significance of the department’s civilian staff, as well as providing seminars and educational programs to inspire future generations of Massachusetts State troopers.

To make the museum a reality we need your financial participation. We invite all who are proud to wear the “French and Electric Blue” and all civilian support staff of the Massachusetts State Police to assist us in funding the museum’s construction.

Recently, legislation was passed to authorize direct payroll deposits, from members of The Department of State Police and its civilian employees, to the museum account. Your contribution of $3.00 per pay period is critical to the overall success of our museum and together we can preserve a history of service to the citizens of Massachusetts.
